Accountant-Sports Division-Qatar

The RoleReporting to the Senior Accountant will primarily be responsible for;

  • Coding invoices and expenses to the GL
  • Coding to multiple business units
  • Daily accounting transactions
  • Account analysis and reconciliation
  • Payment Issuance (checks issuance and transfers to suppliers)
  • EFT’s and Cheque runs
  • Bank & Suppliers reconciliations


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.

2-3 years experience preferred

Retail Accounting experience an asset


Accounting certification or diploma or similar experience


Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task

Excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills

Ability to manage change effectively

Strong customer service skills

Ability to work under tight deadlines and able to handle last minute changes

Professional, tactful and diplomatic when dealing with internal and external persons

Computer Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
