About the Business Unit:
The need for Business Continuity is increasing, due to growing legal requirements, Ooredoo Qatar is a Critical National Infrastructure provider.
If a crisis or disruption to the organization, it needs to be able to minimize the disruption and resume back safe and with least impact to the business. Businesses are operating with a greater element of uncertainty in their environments, and are developing recovery capabilities at all levels, for example, health, safety, physical security, IT and network availability, information security etc. Business Continuity Management is a holistic management process that identifies potential impacts that threaten an organization and provides a framework for building resilience and the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of its key stakeholders, reputation, brand and value-creating activities.
Ooredoo has ongoing resilience and business continuity with multiple continuous initiatives for which permanent governance is required.
About the Role:
This role is ultimately responsible for the management and governance of the Ooredoo Business Continuity Program. The Head of Business Continuity will report into to the ERM Director and interact regularly with other function in-charge like CXOs/COO and CEO on all matters relating to Business Continuity Management and Strategy, including the timely escalation of all identified continuity risks.

You should have at least 10 years of experience in Business Continuity or a closely related field, preferably in telecoms similar to Ooredoo. You should be an expert on all related standards including ISO22301:2012, BS25777, BCI Good Practice Guidelines. You should have an experience of managing large scale Business Continuity External Audit with strong Risk Management Skills – preferably in context of Business Continuity.
Minimum requirement is a Bachelors degree in risk management and insurance, financial risk management, business administration, or finance, Masters in Business Administration with Telecom Background is preferred.
