Business Unit:

Ooredoo purchases a wide range of materials and services, and provides services both internally and externally. The Procurement & Supply Chain unit coordinates all activities related to three key aspects covering purchase, logistics and materials management. About the Role:

This role is part of category management team within the Procurement & Supply Chain function. This role shall be assigned to a specific category and shall be responsible for sourcing of products and services related to the assigned category. . The role covers end to end sourcing from supplier selection through to negotiation and completion.

About You:
You should have at least 5 years’ experience in a sourcing function with a significant understanding of Contract negotiations to international industry standards. Additional experience within a telecom environment would be appreciated. You should demonstrable expertise in vendor selection and management and a proven ability to drive down cost without loss of service standards or quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum requirement is a Bachelor degree from recognized University. Plus additional qualification in Procurement Management – such as the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) diploma.
